Jerry's a nice guy. Everyone think's so. He may be a little strange, but who isn't? All Jerry really wants, is to be a good person, to be liked by people, and especially by a special someone. He wants a woman he can share his life with...the way he sees it.
He finds such a woman in his workplace, and they hit it off immediately. After a night of romance, he feels euphoric and blessed, like the world has finally given him something good.
He does, however, deal with conflicting advice from his dog, cat, and the woman's head in the freezer.
He does see a psychiatrist, Dr Warren, but who tells their psychiatrist everything.
This is a psychotic, serial killer, feel good comedy....I don't want to say anything else about it. Except, by the end of the movie, you'll want to sing a happy song.
Jerry is a good example of how we perceive life and our surroundings as we want to see them.
