Annabelle
Renae and I watched this this evening at the cinema. I was happy that my pre-conceived notions of this movie were wrong. It's been a while since I have seen a good horror. One with chilling suspense and shock horror combined with the eerie music, which threads the story together while the characters dance with the macabre.
Annabell, a spin off the movie 'The conjuring', is based on a true story of a.... doll. The doll, named 'Annabelle', that now resides in the Warren's museum of supernatural artefacts. For all those that have seen the Conjuring, I don't need to explain too much about the doll. For those that haven't, I don't want to ruin the movie for you in any way.
Just go and watch it!
I am picky about the horrors that I like, either in movies or books, or both, and I say that Annabelle is a well thought out and put together film.
So... get your trusty old blanket, or hoodie with the worn hole in it, and see it so you can judge for yourself....
However, as Halloween closes upon us, if you feel afraid to joust with the supernatural, just remember...
It's only a movie...
