Jenny Brook comes home from School, in America, to stay with her father in Tuscany for the holidays. Jenny (Daisy Keeping) soon makes friends with some children in an old hospital. They tell her that they're sick, and so she visits to read them stories. They, in turn, share things with her about the lake, and show her some of the hospital. Except for the locked door.
Her father, Dr Brooks, studies the statuettes that are thousands of years old, from the area and from the lake. Jenny begins to have dreams concerning the lake and knows that somehow it links everything that is happening....but how? She tries to share this with her father, but he has a locked door of his own.
This is a nice little ghostly thriller. It does tend to start off a little slow, but it is worth the investment to reach the climax of the movie. It's well thought out and played out by the actors.
This is definitely one to see. If you haven't already seen it, make sure you watch....
